Topic Based On Psalms 127<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n

There is a simple but profound message in Psalm 127. Our lives are safest, strongest, and most fruitful when God is in charge. Solomon begins with these powerful words:<\/b><\/strong>
\n<\/b><\/strong>\u201cUnless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain.\u201d \u2014 Psalm 127:1<\/b><\/strong>
\n<\/b><\/strong>
\n<\/b><\/strong>Although Psalm 127 speaks particularly about building a house, protecting a city, working, resting, marriage, and children, its message reaches much further. It reminds us that before we begin our plans and activities, we need to invite God to take charge of our day.<\/b><\/strong>
\n<\/b><\/strong>
\n<\/b><\/strong>We can make our plans, establish our goals, and work diligently, but lasting success ultimately depends upon the Lord.<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n

Start Your Day by Allowing God to Lead<\/b><\/strong><\/h1>\n

 <\/p>\n

Every morning presents us with a new opportunity. We wake up with responsibilities, appointments, decisions, work, family matters, and personal goals.<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n

But before we rush into the activities of the day, there is an important question we should ask:<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cLord, what do You want me to do today?\u201d This answer comes from studying His Word in the morning.<\/i><\/b><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Psalm 127:2 warns us against living as though everything depends entirely upon our own effort. The lesson is not that hard work is unnecessary. Scripture encourages diligence. Rather, the lesson is that human effort without God cannot provide the security, peace, and blessing that only He can give.<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n

We should therefore begin our days by surrendering our plans to God.<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cLord, this is Your day. Lead me. Guide my decisions. Direct my conversations. Protect my family. Help me to do what pleases You.\u201d<\/i><\/b><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

When we put God first, we acknowledge that He is the builder, while we are His servants.<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n

Involve God Before You Build Your Home<\/b><\/strong><\/h1>\n

 <\/p>\n

Psalm 127 also speaks about the home and family.<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n

Marriage is one of the most important decisions a person will make in life. Yet many people enter marriage based primarily on emotions, physical attraction, financial considerations, social expectations, or advice from friends and social media.<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n

God should be involved before the marriage begins, not only when problems arise.<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n

Before choosing a life partner, seek God’s wisdom through His word and prayer. Most importantly, allow the Holy Spirit to guide you.<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n

Marriage should not simply be a relationship between two people. It should be a covenant in which God is in charge. When God is involved from the beginning, husband and wife can learn to build their relationship according to His Word rather than according to changing cultural expectations. Both of them will not find it difficult to relate with each other.<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n

Colossians 3:18\u201321 gives important instructions concerning relationships within the family. Wives and husbands are called to relate to one another in ways that honour Messiah (Christ), while parents are instructed to care for their children without discouraging them.<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n

The biblical model of family is therefore not built on domination, selfishness, fear, or violence. It is built on love, respect, responsibility, forgiveness, patience, and submission to God.<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n

Why Are So Many Families Breaking Apart?<\/b><\/strong><\/h1>\n

\u00a0<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n

Look around the world today and we see marriages and families under enormous pressure. They are going through violence, unfaithfulness, bitterness, unforgiveness, selfishness, divorce, financial pressure, addiction, poor communication, and unhealthy influences which are damaging homes. But this is not God’s design for a peaceful home. A home cannot be built successfully when God is excluded from its foundation. We should ask ourselves, what are we allowing to build our homes? Is it God’s Word and prayer? Is it love and forgiveness? Now a days it looks like families are being shaped primarily by social media, popular culture, personal desires, and worldly values and traditions?<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n

The foundation marriage is founded upon matters.<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n

Become a Vessel God Can Use<\/b><\/strong><\/h1>\n

\u00a0<\/b><\/strong>As a Godly person, you need to know that you a valuable in the eyes of God.<\/b><\/strong><\/h1>\n

Paul gives a powerful illustration in 2 Timothy 2:20\u201321. He compares people to different kinds of vessels in a large house. Some are used for honourable purposes and others for ordinary purposes.<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n

Paul then says that those who cleanse themselves can become vessels useful to the Master and prepared for every good work. This gives us a personal challenge to everyone: What kind of vessel are you?<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n

God wants to use us in our marriages, families, churches, workplaces, communities, and wherever He has placed us. But we must be willing to allow Him to cleanse and transform us.<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n

We cannot expect God to use us for His purposes while deliberately holding on to attitudes and behaviours that contradict His Word.<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n

If we want God to use our lives, we must become people who are willing to listen, obey, repent, forgive, love, and walk in holiness.<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n

Become that person.<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n

Become the husband God can use.<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n

Become the wife God can use.<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n

Become the parent God can use.<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n

Become the Christian God can trust with responsibility.<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n

Let God Build Your Life<\/b><\/strong><\/h1>\n

\u00a0<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n

Psalm 127 is ultimately an invitation to surrender.<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n

We can work hard, but God gives the blessing.<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n

We can build, but God must be the Master Builder.<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n

We can plan, but God must direct our steps.<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n

We can establish a family, but God must be the foundation.<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n

We can raise children, but God must give us wisdom.<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n

We can begin a new day, but God must be invited to lead us through it.<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n

Perhaps the most important prayer we can pray every morning is simply:<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cLord, build my life today.\u201d<\/i><\/b><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Do not begin the day assuming that you know everything you need to know.<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n

Begin with God.<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n

Do not build your marriage without God.<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n

Do not raise your family without God.<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n

Do not make major decisions without seeking God.<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n

Do not allow the loud voices of social media to become louder than the voice of the Holy Spirit.<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/b><\/strong><\/h1>\n

Daily Prayer: Lord, Build My Day<\/b><\/strong><\/h1>\n

\u00a0<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n

Heavenly Elohim (Father),<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n

Thank You for giving me another day.<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n

Before I begin my plans and activities, I surrender this day to You. I acknowledge that unless You build the house, more so my heart, my work is in vain.<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n

Lord, be the Master Builder of my life, my marriage, my family, my work, and my relationships.<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n

Guide my thoughts, my words, my decisions, and my actions today. Help me not to depend only on my own understanding or on the opinions of people around me.<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n

Holy Spirit, dwell within me and teach me to recognise the voice of God. Remind me of God’s Word and give me the wisdom to obey it.<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n

Lord, strengthen marriages and restore families that are hurting. Remove violence, <\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n

bitterness, unforgiveness, selfishness, and anything that destroys the peace of our homes. <\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n

Help husbands and wives to love, respect, forgive, and serve one another according to Your Word. For those preparing for marriage, give them wisdom to seek You before making that important commitment.<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n

Make me a clean vessel, prepared for Your good work. Remove <\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n

from my life anything that prevents You from using me.<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n

Today, I do not want to run ahead of You.<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n

Go before me. Walk with me. Lead me.<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n

May all that I do today bring honour to Your name.<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n

In the name of Yahshuah (Jesus), I pray.<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n

Amen.<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n
